The Guild onboarding raffle requires users to register and complete Level 2 identity verification. This verification is crucial for security and to unlock higher limits for their account.
If you’re new to Coins.ph, here’s a step-by-step process you can follow.
STEP 1: Download the app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and complete the installation.
STEP 2: Open the app and tap Sign up. Enter your mobile number or email address, and set a secure password or 4-digit MPIN. Follow the on-screen prompts to enter the one-time authentication password (OTP) sent to your number or email to verify your registration. The same process is followed if you’re signing up using the web portal
STEP 3: Navigate to the verification section in the app or web portal (usually found in the Account or Profile settings). Select the option for ID & Selfie Verification.
You will need to take a clear photo of one of the accepted primary IDs. The app will guide you through a facial recognition scan to verify your identity against your ID.
STEP 4: Submit the documents and wait for Coins.ph to review and approve your verification. This typically takes a short time if the documents are clear and valid.
How to Make Your First Crypto Purchase on Coins.ph
Once your account is successfully verified to Level 2, you are ready to fund your account and make your purchase. Remember, the raffle offers a bonus entry for a first crypto buy of ₱100 or more worth of any token.
STEP 1: On the Coins.ph home screen, look for the Cash In or Deposit button. Choose your preferred method to deposit Philippine Pesos (PHP) into your wallet.
STEP 2: Enter the amount you wish to deposit (at least enough for the ₱100+ crypto buy, plus any transaction fees). Follow the instructions for the chosen payment method to complete the transfer.
STEP 3: Once your PHP funds have landed in your wallet, go to the Home or Convert section of the app and then select the cryptocurrency you want to buy (e.g., Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), etc.).
STEP 4: Enter the amount of ₱100 or more you wish to spend. The app will show you the equivalent crypto amount you will receive. Review the details, including the exchange rate and any fees.
STEP 5: Confirm the transaction to complete your first crypto purchase!
After completing these steps, you will have the base entries for the raffle and the bonus entry for the crypto purchase.
How to Refer New Users on Coins.ph
Getting bonus entries for referrals is a great way to maximize your chances in the raffle! Coins.ph makes it easy to invite your friends and family.
STEP 1: You can typically find your unique referral details within the Coins.ph app. To do this, you need to open the Coins.ph app or web portal and then log in to your account.
STEP 2: Look for your profile icon or the "Account" section, usually found in the upper left corner of the screen and then navigate to the button labeled as "Referral’
STEP 3: Once you are in the referral section, you will usually find three easy ways to invite someone:
- Referral Code: Share the code that appears on your app to your friends or family. They need to manually enter the code during sign-up by selecting “I have a referral code’ on the registration page
- Referral Link: Copy the link that appears on your app or web portal and share it to your friends or family. Upon receiving the link, your friends and family need to simply click it to start the registration process, and the code is automatically applied.
- QR Code: Lastly, you can click the QR code button on the screen and a unique QR code will appear. Your referee can scan the code with their phone camera and they will be immediately directed to the sign-up page with the code pre-applied
